Joe Lieberman Forgets the Third Leg

How Medicare can be saved - The Washington Post:
"Medicare cannot be fixed without both more revenue and significant changes in its premium and benefit structure."

If there isn't cost containment as well then it is all going to suck up as much revenue as you can shovel into it. Wonder why Joe didn't mention this? Could it be because of how his wife made her living?

She worked for the lobbying company APCO Associates, which serves many pharmaceutical and health care corporations, as well as four major drug companies. In March 2005, Lieberman was hired by Hill & Knowlton as "senior counselor" in the firm's "health care and pharmaceuticals practice."

I guess it would be cynical of me to think that wouldn't it?
