Slippery Slopes and Boiled Frogs

As a Canadian living in the US I have a feeling that this kind of thing should scare me.

Last of the stand up guys .... WTF

Now, I am not a law and order zealot or anything like that but does it strike you as odd when a major newspaper writes something like this on the the front page about a dead bookie that makes him sound like some sort of social worker and just an all round swell fella?

In the wake of reading this I took a little drive through Hartford today. Perhaps if The Courant concentrated less on writing glowing front page articles about "the last of the stand up guys" and spent more time on folks that were actually doing things to revitalize the city then things would go in the right direction.

Just a thought.

After Many Years

People keep telling me that I should blog.

I am not sure why

I guess we will find out
