How to tell that someone is self absorbed

Charles Krauthammer has ~9000 followers on twitter. He is following (as of this post) none, zero, nada.

Now that is liking the sound of your own tweets.

    in his defence...I opened a twitter account because one person invited me - I now have over 100 followers and have never tweeted. Whats more - I haven't a clue who they are! I suspect they are marketers who follow randoms to make twitter seem like 'the' place to be, to the young and stupid.

    hopefully I have avoided acting like an asshole so you will not need to delete me as spam ;)

Not moderated but I do delete spam and I would rather that people not act like assholes.
