Bill Donohue has issued a fatwa against PZ Meyers.
I would humbly suggest that my faithful readers wander over to PZ's place and read about it .. then send an email, or even better a snail mail, to the president of his university. The contact info is available at PZ's place, I thought it was bad form to copy it.

Ok, let it be known that I think that it's not in very good taste to actually desecrate another person's religious symbol be it the Quran, Bhagavad Gita, the Bible, A Plate of Spaghetti and Meatballs and yes, a wafer.

I repeat, he didn't molest the wafer. The wafer remains unmolested.
He was merely highlighting the absurdity of the Catholic League's response in regards to a student at the University of Central Florida walking out of Mass with the "Host" and holding it hostage for several days.
That's hilarious by the way. I am laughing on the inside as I type this. Funny student.
I have an important question : Why didn't they just get more wafers?
So lets save Prof Myers! Actually no, we don't need to; he has tenure. However, write the president of the University of MN anyway. Say "We love Prof Myers, leave him alone or the cracker gets it!"
Also, write the Catholic League with the same message ... oh and have them get rid of Bill Donohue. With all that's going on in the world, the man is worried about someone threatening to harm a cracker. Does he just not have anything more important to do?
What? We need to send the wafers to trauma counseling next?
I don't think God is as petty as that; I'd probably smack Donohue on the back of the head if he had misrepresented me that way. God probably just ignores rubbish of this sort.
