Pretty easy to guess why.
Key things are:
1) I am a geek and love gadgets
2) not big on pain
3) would be nice if it cooperated with a computer or android phone
4) must be easy to use. Checking my blood sugar shouldn't cause my blood pressure to rise.
Thoughts?
